Life coaching has a reputation for being superficial and failing to deliver lasting impact. For my clients it’s not like that.

We deal with making lasting changes for specific problems, such as:

During the first session I help my clients set defined goals that we use as a roadmap to reach a desired outcome. Then we set to work on defining a pathway for achieving them, unraveling issues that are keeping them stuck, developing techniques for coping with everyday life and getting to grips with decision making.

I am unusual as a personal development coach because I also have a psychotherapy degree, and because I have faced many of the problems my clients are facing myself. This experience and training means I can help clients really uncover what’s below the surface, and I don’t shy away from helping them deal with these issues.

I’m not scared to occasionally challenge my clients or point out when they are avoiding a specific area or standing in their own way. I’ll gently encourage them to look again to get to the truth. I always ensure that we are dealing with the reality of any matter at hand.

How my life coaching programmes work

I’m a Creative Consciousness trained coach. This training has given me access to practical tools that help my clients to reconnect with their true desires and the unlimited power to build a life they love.

I’m a life coach in Berlin, but because my coaching sessions can be delivered online or face-to-face, they are available to anyone, anywhere. I offer life coaching in both English and Swedish.

I have two life coaching packages available to book. Each one includes a different number of sessions, every session lasts for one hour.

In both programmes we start by confronting the barriers that stand between you and your well-being. I help my clients not only reach their goals and expand their beliefs, but also gain a fuller understanding of deep-rooted patterns which affect their ability to make empowered choices.

This is for you if you know you need to make changes but aren’t entirely sure what they are or where to start. You’ve already tried on your own, but you discovered it wasn’t enough to give you the focus and strength you need.

We’ll work together for six months to give you time to implement your discoveries and decisions. This is not about finding a ‘quick fix’ but to create lasting, and sustainable change. We’ll focus on slowing down your busy life, taking time to identify and clear the things that are blocking you, so that you can start to build a life that you love. When we have clarity on what’s holding you back, we’ll move to the next phase.

Next we’ll focus on making the decisions you need to face in order to move forward with your goals. Whether you need to make changes in your career, relationship or lifestyle I’ll support you with decision making and identifying the key steps you need to take to move forward.

The more tangible action happens in the last phase of our programme. We’ll create a personal and/or professional vision. I’ll also hold you accountable to your commitments and support you with the challenges that arise along the way.

This is designed for people who know what they want from their life, and just need the support to take the first steps.

It can be frustrating knowing what we want and what’s good for us but not being able to implement all the ‘goodness’ into our lives and make the progress we long for.

From the outside my life looked glamorous, but I was slowly burning out. I didn’t like the person I was becoming, and I didn’t like how I treated people. I had lost sight of what was important to me.

FAQ

About my Programmes

If I book a coaching programme with you, how often will we meet?

We will set a bi-weekly schedule where we meet on the same day of the week, every two weeks. If you prefer to do the programme more intensely, we could potentially meet every week.

What happens if I have to cancel an appointment?

If you cancel up to 24h in advance, we reschedule the appointment. If you cancel with less than 24h, you will have to pay for an extra session, which we will add to your coaching programme.

Is it possible to book appointments in the evenings and on weekends?

I don’t work weekends, but I offer a few evening slots.

What happens if I have to travel for work and I miss an appointment?

If you can’t make a session because of a work trip, I will do my best to offer you a make-up session outside of our normal bi-weekly schedule.

I have done a lot of personal development work already, what makes your coaching programmes different?

Many of my clients who have done coaching and therapy previously, have said this experience was different—that they were able to move forward on a deeper level.

The programme I created is based on my learnings from over 6 years as a coach combined with information gathered from various coaching trainings as well as my psychotherapy practice. The tools I developed are designed to help you get unstuck and to look at your situation from a different perspective, both in your personal and professional life. The work we do together is very personal and doing it one-on-one as opposed to in a group, enables you to open up more freely, and gives you my complete attention.

What results can I expect?

The outcome of the programme depends on many factors, including where you are right now in your life, how much time you have to put in and how willing you are to do the work personal development requires. From my experience, clients who have achieved the most satisfying results are the ones who showed up fully present to every session, did their homework and integrated what they learned into their everyday lives. I always say that if you are really committed to changing what’s not working for you, you have done half the work already!

What if I need longer than the sessions included in the programme?

I offer two different programmes, but I’m also flexible in my approach. If you feel you need more sessions, you can always add a bundle of 6 sessions to each programme. Some of my clients continue monthly meetings with me after they finish a programme. They find that after reaching their desired outcome, it is beneficial that I continue to hold them accountable and support them with challenges that arise from implementing changes in their lives. Towards the end of the programme we always discuss if you need further support.

Is this going to be a 'learn positive affirmations and go away' programme? Or is it more of a practical programme? And am I actually going to see a lasting change?

A client once called me a ‘no-nonsense kind of coach’. I can tell you that I use a very grounded approach with some elements of spirituality if it seems right for you. And I can assure you that I will teach you practical tools that you will be able to integrate into your everyday life.

How will the coaching work?

While I take everyone through the same procedure, the actual coaching varies greatly. During the first goal-setting session we decide which areas you want to work on and I design the progamme based on that decision.

I will introduce you to tools and exercises, which form the basis of the programme. At each session we will use one of these tools to work on the actual issue or problem you have present that day.

About my approach

How will we set goals?

At our first session we will talk about where you want to be at the end of the programme and set defined goals. I use the goals like a roadmap, keeping them at the forefront of my awareness while I work with you, but I won’t necessarily check in on them at every session. My clients are usually amazed by how we work on the themes in their goals without pushing it.

Is it important to have done personal development work prior to starting life coaching with you?

No, you don’t need any prior experience. If you haven’t done any work before, I suggest you sign up for the 6-month coaching programme: Transform your life.

I see that you work with a lot of women, are you working with men too?

Yes, I work with men too. If you’re unsure if I have experience with the topics you want to work on, please book a call with me.

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?

Life coaching and psychotherapy are both wonderful tools for personal development. They both help you understand yourself better and they both have therapeutic potential—but they differ in focus and approach.

In short, the main difference between life coaching and psychotherapy is that life coaching focuses on unlocking potential, achieving life objectives and taking steps towards a fulfilling personal and professional life, while psychotherapy focuses on treating mental health conditions such as trauma, dysfunction, anxiety, depression, panic attacks and burnout. Can you guarantee it will work?

I can’t promise you that you’ll have the outcome you want. Why? Because the success depends on you. I can promise you that I will give you the tools and support you need to succeed. But it’s up to you to put in the effort of following my steps and integrating what you learn into your life, between sessions.

Are the online sessions as effective and transformational as the in-person sessions?

It all depends on your preference and what you’re most comfortable with. I find that online sessions can definitely be as deep and effective as the in-person sessions and many of my clients report the same.

Can I talk to you before starting the programme?

Yes, I offer a free, 30-minute online consultation so we can see if we are a good match as a coach and client. You also have the chance to share what you want to work on, and I will give you an idea of how we can work together.

Do you offer single sessions?

No, I don’t offer single sessions. My coaching packages start at 6 sessions. But I do offer a free consultation for you to decide if my way of coaching and my programmes are for you.

How long will it take before I see results?

This varies from person to person. Factors such as where you are in your personal development journey, in your career, in your personal life and how much time you are willing to invest in the process all play a part in determining how long it will take. It can take as little as 3 months or as many as 24 months to achieve the results you’re looking for.

When is the right time to start?

Now! There is no such thing as the ‘right’ time. It’s never going to be the perfect time. Taking one small step is better than staying in a place where you don’t feel fulfilled. With that said, the coaching process requires that you have energy and time to implement all you learn in the sessions. If you’re unsure if now is the right time, book a consultation and I will help you make a decision.

Can I work with you even if I don’t know what I want?

Yes, many of my clients come to me because they have lost sight of what they truly want. It’s easy to follow everybody else’s advice, from parents and friends to partners and colleagues, and we can get lost in all the noise. I’m here to help you look behind all the layers of shoulds and musts and discover what it is that you actually want.

Where do I start if I don’t know my passion or purpose in life?

Words like ‘passion’ and ‘purpose’ can give us a lot of anxiety. We think there is something wrong with us because we haven’t found our passion or purpose, that there is something out there we need to find, and as long as we haven’t found it we feel like a failure. What if your purpose is to find joy in your everyday life? I help my clients discover what gives them meaning in their professional and personal lives right now, and then start doing more of that. That often leads to a life full of passion and purpose!

How do I know if you are the right coach for me?

You can’t know 100% that I will be the right coach for you. During the consultation you have the opportunity to ask me anything you want about the programmes and about me as a coach. I also suggest you read my testimonials to get an idea what other clients say about working with me. Then, you just need to trust your gut and make a decision that feels right for you.
